Managing a large team of Scheme participants throughout the Ballyhoura area, in line with both organisational policy and the requirements of the Scheme, as regulated by the Department of Social Protection.
The role will involve facilitating, supporting and working with communities, scheme participants,  stakeholders and environmental agencies to identify, develop and manage a range of environmental initiatives and projects across biodiversity, climate change and renewable energy. The Supervisor will also be responsible for empowering and facilitating the personal development and professional progression opportunities of individuals referred to participate in the Programme.

Key Skills: 
•	Educated to degree level in an environmental discipline and relevant experience in a field relevant to the job.
•	Relevant knowledge, experience and technical skills in environmental issues and initiatives, e.g. biodiversity, green space, sustainable construction, catchment management, waste and recycling, renewable energy, 
•	Track record of developing & implementing practical, environmental strategies, initiatives & projects, social  enterprise, community engagement, capacity building, community planning, etc  to environmental sustainability & renewable energy.
•	Experience of sourcing and matching funding and implementing projects from inception to conclusion.
•	Experience of budget management, monitoring of capital and revenue projects involving a range of funders.
•	Experience of successfully promoting partnership working with public, private and community based voluntary organisations and representatives.
•	Excellent ICT, research, analytical and planning skills
•	Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
•	Ability to work on his / her own initiative to set and meet targets / deadlines with a minimum of direction and supervision
