Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

This position is for 19.5 hours per week Monday-Friday and rotational Saturdays
Flexibility is required for this CE placement to work Mornings/Afternoons/Evenings. 
Knockmitten Community Centre Opening hours are as follows;
9.00am - 10.00pm Mon - Fri /  Saturday 10.00am - 1.30pm 
Job Description:
1.	The community centre worker will work as part of the community centre team as follows (this list is non-exhaustive and will be revised from time to time):
2.	Carry out reception duties.
3.	Answer the phone.
4.	Take bookings.
5.	Provide information on the Centres activities.
6.	Meet and greet centre visitors.
7.	Help and support children’s/seniors’ clubs and groups.
8.	Assist in the general cleaning and up-keep of the centre.
9.	Any other tasks as assigned by the centre manager and/or Board of Directors.
This CE placement will be based in Knockmitten Youth and Community Centre.
