We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical care team. The successful candidate will provide direct, high-quality person-centered care and essential daily living support to residents/patients within our facility. Key Responsibilities: • Assist residents/patients with daily living activities, including mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and dietary requirements. • Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions, vital signs, or behavioral patterns to the supervising nursing staff. • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable therapeutic environment in compliance with infection control and healthcare safety standards. • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting independence and respecting individual dignity. • Assist multi-disciplinary healthcare teams with clinical administrative duties, equipment preparation, and patient transport. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: • Must hold a relevant QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support, or an equivalent international qualification. (Alternatively, the employer may sponsor a candidate who formally commits to completing this qualification within 2 years of the employment start date). • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights, as dictated by rotation schedules.
