Job description

Commercial/Industrial Plumbers for upcoming commercial projects in the Limerick / Clare/Tipperary/ North Cork Area.

Job Summary:

As a plumber/pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in various industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Your expertise in both plumbing and pipe fitting will ensure efficient and accurate installation and maintenance of these systems.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Assembly: Install and assemble piping systems

Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems, including identifying and fixing leaks, replacing worn parts, and ensuring systems are operating efficiently.

Pipe fitting: Fabricate and install various types of pipes and fittings, including copper, steel, PVC, and other materials, using appropriate techniques and tools.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and regulations, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes and guidelines.

Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, such as welders, HVAC technicians, and contractors, to coordinate projects and ensure smooth installation and maintenance processes.

Testing and Inspections: Conduct tests on completed installations to ensure proper functionality, pressure, and leak-free systems.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any necessary reports.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a plumber and pipe fitter or similar role.

Expertise in assembling, installing, and maintaining various types of piping systems.

Proficient knowledge of Commercial/Industrial plumbing & Pipe Fitting.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Certificate (or equivalent) in Plumbing
SOLAS Safe Pass 
related areas.
