Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Receptionist/Finance Administrator needed for Ozanam House Community Resource Centre. We will help you get job-ready, with FULL ON THE JOB TRAINING, up-to-date experience and a personalised Training and Development plan to help you achieve a new career or return to work.

Experience of an office environment / work within the community sector would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided. An understanding and interest in community development and social inclusion issues an advantage. Would suit a well organised person with good communication and interpersonal skills, good ability to work on his/her own initiative and a team worker with an ability to prioritise tasks and to work well under pressure. A flexible and enthusiastic person who enjoys being part of a progressive and energetic team. 

•	Assisting the Accounts team as directed
•	Answering the phone, administering messages, emailing the relevant person
•	Communication with Coordinator’s to ensure knowledge of all activities in the centre
•	Meeting and greeting and directing clients to the correct area in the centre
•	Ensuring front of house is maintained well and kept clean and tidy 
•	Maintaining Notice boards throughout the building – keeping them updated with the most up to date information on individual respective programmes and general front of house information
•	Creating signs for various events and fundraisers 

•	Assisting in recruitment of volunteers for all programmes throughout the year
•	Maintaining good communication with all of our volunteers 
•	Assisting in mailshots and following up directly with volunteers where necessary
•	Assisting in the development and planning for volunteer events that will run throughout the year	 
	Assisting the Administrator to undertake an audit of suppliers on a regular basis cross checking prices and  rates ensuring we are getting best value for money at all times 
	
•	A strong involvement in all levels communication within our community network
•	Assisting in advertising of programmes, helping in the undertaking a mailshot each term (3 terms per year)
•	Assisting in the class registration process each term, 
•	Assisting in the day to day support of all programmes running in the centre. This will include following up with class participants to help maintain good levels of attendance, assisting programme coordinators in various admin tasks as requested, preparing certificates at term end etc
•	Assisting in the preparation and development of any events that occur during the year such as shows, exhibitions, open days etc
