As an Accounts Assistant, you will be an important part of the company’s accounting function. The role involves the processing of invoices, statements, payments, reconciliations and other accounting duties. The role is part-time with flexible working hours, some home working considered. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to expand the role.

Responsibilities
•	Management of customer accounts
•	Processing of customer orders
•	Credit control including generating/issuing invoices, statements, debtor analysis.
•	Reconciliation & clear down of high-volume accounts to reduce ageing balances.
•	Dealing with customer queries, responding to customer emails, sending quotations etc.
•	Working with the production team to ensure orders are processed as required
•	Any other tasks that arise from time to time

Attributes / Skills/ Experience
•	Sage experience essential 
•	Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience as an account’s assistant
•	Competent IT Skills, including Excel and Outlook
•	Numeracy Skills, Accuracy and attention to detail.
•	Good organisational and Time management Skills
•	Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
•	Trustworthy & discreet when dealing with confidential information.
•	Able to communicate and be fluent in English (written and spoken)
•	Ability to work to strict deadlines.
•	Flexibility.

Days, Hours & Start Date
This role will have flexible working hours up to 20 hours per week.
