ST Ireland Ltd (Sexing Technologies Ireland Ltd) based in the National Cattle Breeding Centre, Unit K4, M7 business park, Newhall, Naas, Co. Kildare W91WF59 & St Ireland, Dovea Genetics, Kill Killahara, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, E41 FH28 are currently recruiting for LABORATORY TECHNICIANS.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the activities in the laboratory for the enrichment and processing of sexed sorted semen.

Tasks and responsibilities include - Processing of sexed sorted semen, following quality guidelines, preparing freezing, preparing samples, operating sorting machines, comply with company policies and SOPs, performing activities in accordance with safety, health & quality protocols, working in shifts (day and night shifts), other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.

The successful candidate will possess a Science qualification either Biological or Chemical, excellent English both written and verbal, technical ability, be computer literate, must be willing to travel for training and must possess a full clean driving license. 

Salary: €36k +						
Hours of Work: 38 hours a week
