This work experience programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers that are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme. Your eligibility for this programme will have to be verified by the Department as part of the application process. If you are in receipt of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) you will be required to transfer to a Jobseekers payment in order to participate on the programme. 


The eligible participant will receive full training in all aspects of the placement.  There will be a mentor there to guide and coach the participant.
They will assist and learn the day-to-day duties of the job, assist in preparing hdf doors and inhouse assembly of flat packed units.  They will learn problem solving skills and operate handheld tools
They will assist and learn in taking measurements and operating machinery to different specifications.  
They will track job progress and plan dispatch dates, participate in stock taking and management of raw materials and preparation of purchase orders.
