The main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager are outlined as follows:

The project manager will be responsible for all aspects of the projects from inception through to client handover.
Controlling and recording all relevant CE information for submission and approval.
Developing step-by-step project plans, outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver individual projects.
Managing several projects in terms of specifications, documentation, planning, deployment and close out
Leading & guiding project teams.
Overseeing the relevant Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, and maintaining a continuous focus on Health & Safety and Quality.
Organise and lead regular update meetings to monitor and record progress, providing detailed state of play reports, to ensure projects are on time
Ensure all contract variations, NCR’s, are documented, accounted for, and claimed in line with company procedures
Responsible for ensuring the clients requirements are on track and milestones observed
Work closely with other departments at every level
Prepare Client Quotations
Scheduling of quotes, purchase orders and invoices
Monitor costs and outlay, ensuring budgetary requirements are being met & adhered to.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

4+ years previous Supervision /Management / Project Management expereince  of projects 
Engineering qualification desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and strong people skills
Self-Starter, work under your own initiative whilst also working as part of a team is essential to this role
Must be flexible
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
Experience with Sub-contractor management
Understanding procurement, lead times, and ability to manage supply and sourcing of raw materials
Good Microsoft Package knowledge and skills: Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Having previously worked within a Manufacturing and Stainless-Steel Fabrication base would be a benefit
AutoCAD an advantage
