Overview:
The Olde Post Inn Restaurant in Cavan is seeking talented and passionate chefs of all grades to join our Award Winning team. Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Menu Development: Contribute to the creation and development of new menu items, ensuring creativity and alignment with our culinary concept.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout all stages of preparation and service.
Kitchen Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination during service periods. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to meet customer needs and preferences.
Training and Development: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting skill development.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in handling various tasks and responsibilities as required by the demands of the kitchen and restaurant operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food items.
Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred. Candidates of all experience levels, including entry-level and seasoned professionals, are encouraged to apply.
Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity in cooking. Ability to execute dishes with precision and consistency.
Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
Certification: Certification from a culinary institute or relevant training program is a plus but not required.
Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
