Purpose: To oversee the Project Administrative, Technical, and Development aspects of the Community Employment scheme for rehabilitating and assisting long-term unemployed or vulnerable adults.

Essential Requirements:
-Solid understanding of Community Employment Supervisor roles, focusing on project management and program delivery.
-Responsible for implementing the objectives of the Community Employment CE Drug Rehabilitation Programme.
-Knowledgeable about addiction and rehabilitation support services and familiar with various programs for unemployed and vulnerable adults.
-Understanding of the DSP Referral procedures and the National Drug Rehabilitation Framework.

Work Experience:
-At least 3 years of supervisory and people management experience.
-Background in Administration, Project Management, Training, or other relevant fields.

Interpersonal Skills:
-Strong communication and report-writing skills.
-Experience with vulnerable individuals and job-seekers.
-Skills in directing, motivating, coaching, and mentoring.
-Ability to collaborate with other Addiction Support services and work as part of a team.
-Follow the direction of the Sponsoring Organisation to implement the CE Programme effectively.

Education & Training:
-Competency in areas such as Business/Financial Administration, Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Training, Human Resources, ICT skills, and Payroll.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
-Major 3rd level qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

Administration:
-Manage effective financial and accounting systems in compliance with CE corporate governance.
-Ensure Financial Returns and operational financial controls meet CE standards.
-Secure Cash and equipment, maintain the Asset Register, and ensure device security.
-Ensure compliance with Financial, Programme, and training monitor requirements.

CE Scheme Human Resource Management:
-Implement and oversee the CE recruitment process.
-Develop career and progression plans with Supervisors and Participants.
-Handle disciplinary matters and develop an understanding of participants' rehabilitation needs.

CE Training & Progression:
-Coordinate with addiction-related services to align training with participants' care plans.
-Facilitate work placement and develop a database of employers and services.
-Manage staff and participant resources at each center location.
-Liaise with local and national services; manage staff training and ensure target achievements.

Scheme Management:
-Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, compliant with Health and Safety Legislation.
-Oversee work placements to align with CE applications and participants’ ILP.
-Supervise, schedule, and manage the activities of Supervisors and Participants.
-Perform additional functions relevant to the Community Employment Supervisor role as required by the Sponsor.

Salary for CE Supervisor  will be at Point 1 DEASP rates
