Role: Welder D.M. Mechanical & Pipe Installations Limited having their registered offices at Jetty Road, Dublin Port, Dublin 1 requires the services of a Welder to carry out SMAW Welding to the required standard and specification. Key responsibilities:
• Complete welding of structural steel components for our products.
• Cut work pieces, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.
• Follow company welding procedures and specifications.
• Install or repair equipment, such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings.
• Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
• Heat, form, and dress metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.
• Operate equipment, plant and machinery, which may include forklifts and empty handlers.
• Adhering to quality control standards and inspections, repair of welds as necessary. Requirements
• Applicant must have SMAW welding experience to a high standard.
• Welding Qualification preferrable.
• Must have attention to detail and work well in a team environment.
• Initiative to work on tasks without supervision.
Remuneration: €50,700 per annum and 39 working hours per week.
