Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This post may suit people with a friendly, outgoing nature, who like meeting people and are comfortable with basic maths/cash handling. At the tourist entrance, the Cathedral takes admission fees and has a small shop. CE Participants learn to operate a modern scan till system, as well as other aspects of retail practice such as stock-taking and pricing. Successful participants also learn to give guided tours of St. Fin Barre's Cathedral to tourists/school groups, adjusting material to small and large groups. Much of the training is through the mentoring of existing staff and can be supplemented by QQI courses of interest to the participant.
