Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Plan menus with childcare staff. Prepare food to required specifications. adjust food items to accommodate children with allergies, specific dietary concerns or religious requirements. Plan and organise time and stock to ensure delivery of well prepared meals on a daily basis. Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment at all times. Maintain required paperwork for HACCP. Be aware of child safeguarding policies and procedures. Work as part of the overall team. Ability to work on your own initiative. Good time management skills. HACCP qualification is not required as training will be provided. Kindness ,warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children.
