Logistics Controller required to work at JW Balfour Ltd based in Phoenix Industrial Estate, 6 Navan Rd, Ashtown, Dublin, D15 YY17. The successful candidate must have a qualification related to logistics (foreign qualifications are accepted) or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. The duties will be: 1. processes customer orders and forwards requisition documentation to storage and distribution personnel; 2. formulates delivery loads, vehicle schedules and routes to be followed by delivery staff; 3. monitors tachograph readings and maintains records of hours worked and distance travelled by drivers; 4. obtains customs clearance and processes import and export documentation necessary for the movement of goods between countries; 5. maintains records regarding the movement and location of freight, containers and staff.
