Brady Shipman Martin is a multi-disciplinary professional practice providing services in landscape architecture, urban design, master-planning, planning and development, strategic planning, ecological and environmental planning and assessment throughout Ireland. With an expanding, diverse and interesting range of projects, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Landscape Architect/Urban Designer to join our Cork office.

The role offers significant potential for professional development and advancement, working on a wide, interesting and diverse range of project types across a range of sectors including education, amenity/leisure, urban design, master planning, public realm, commercial, residential and landscape infrastructure.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Architect/Urban Designer in Cork and will be responsible for landscape planning and design, hard and soft landscape design, and other related tasks to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will have
 A recognised professional landscape architecture/urban design qualification
 Ideally min. 2 years (but not essential) experience working as a landscape architect from concept development through planning to detailed design, with good all round skill set, combined with design flair and technical competence
 Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with ability to work on multiple projects
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
 Excellent drawing (incl. hand drawing), presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, MS Office etc.
 Proven ability or desire to expand knowledge GIS, BIM/Revit, Sketchup
 An ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment, taking and giving directions, self-direct and work on own initiative
 An enthusiastic, creative and curious mind-set that is also open to learning from others
 Membership in a professional organisation such as the Irish Landscape Institute is a plus
 A full, clean driving licence would be an advantage
