Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This position is based In Waterford City and surrounding area's and will involve working with people with physical and mobile disabilities living in the community. Duties include: Driving an accessible adapted transportation.  Drivers are expected to assist passengers on and off the vehicle, make sure all passengers are safely secured in their seat.  Driver is responsible for the checking and maintenance of the vehicle to make sure it is roadworthy.  Driver will be responsible for the collection of Transport Monthly contribution and dropping it into our office regularly.

All employees will be provided with FREE training, will work alongside another employee until they are comfortable in the position.  Good written and verbal English is a requirement, clean full driving license B is acceptable.
