Powerstown Stud Limited is looking for full-time Work Riders to join our team.
Responsible for providing specialised training, riding racehorses during workouts to keep the animals fit and race ready; checking horses for illness; meeting prospective owners and advises on horses’ selection and horses care.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field; equine knowledge; racing knowledge; interpersonal skills, stress management, must be skilled at controlling horses of varying ages and racing experience levels. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required.
