Sheelin Mushrooms Ltd is a family owned company operating at Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. We produce fresh mushrooms for the Irish and UK retail market.

Job description

We are currently looking for Mushroom Harvesters to work on a farm just outside of Kilnaleck. We are looking for candidates who can start on a short notice.

All induction and training is done on site
Immediate start, full time, long term position
Duties to include:
Hand picking/harvesting and grading/sorting mushrooms,
Weighing mushrooms
Hand picking to correct size and type
Cleaning and preparing mushrooms beds, working areas, sanitising picking tools, racks/trolleys and packaging areas
Minimum productivity targets will apply and must be met
Bonus for high productivity.
Due to nature of the crop hours and days are variable.
Employees Must be hard-working, honest, and reliable with a positive attitude to work.
Work well on own initiative and with others.
Must be flexible in relation to working days/hours due to the nature of the business.
Have ability to take instructions and work with purpose.
Be clean, tidy and organised with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience an advantage.
Flexible, hard-working and honest.
Ability to work well with others and follow instructions. Basic education and/or a good working history.
