As a Cultural Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in initially helping to set up remote teams, particularly within the Philippines, and Hong Kong/China. The key focus will be expansion of the company within these locations, from a cultural and personnel perspective. Additional responsibilities may include client requirement discussions, securing contracts and ensuring that the synergy of teams on and offshore is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Expansion

● Assist in helping the company identify, recruit and onboard new recruits in
different locations, particularly Philippines, and Hong Kong/China.
● Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, particularly
those from different cultural backgrounds, to help them acclimate to the
team's working environment and communication style.

2. Language & Cultural Support
● Provide real time language translation & interpretation if need be for
teams remote teams
● Help resolve any cultural misunderstandings or conflicts that arise
between team members from different countries or regions.
● Ensure that any software requirements are accurately relayed and
understood by any offshore teams.
● Assistance in any contract negotiations or work proposals from a
language perspective.
● Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, particularly
those from different cultural backgrounds, to help them acclimate to the
team's working environment and communication style.

3. Team Management & Client Engagement
● Eventual management of remote teams, ensuring that all requirements
and standard of delivery meet expectations
● Engaging with clients in remote locations in order to secure additional
business and expansion.

Required:
Fluency in Multiple Languages: Fluency in English and either Tagalog and/or
Cebuano. Fluency or working proficiency in Madarin/Cantonese is also required.

Cultural Competence: Strong understanding of global cultures, customs, and
communication styles within Philippines and Hong Kong/China

2+ years of experience in Cross-Cultural Communication: Previous experience working in
multicultural teams or providing language and cultural services

Proven Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address communication challenges and
cultural misunderstandings quickly and efficiently

Preferred:
● Knowledge of remote team collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, GitHub,
Jira, etc.).
● Basic knowledge in software development or working in tech-related
environments
