Role Description: Shop Assistant Assist in the day to day running of ADAPT Charity shop. Carry out the 'Opening and ‘Closing Check list’ daily Carry out the Weekly check Dealing with customer queries, requests and complaints. Dealing with sales, merchandising and display. Choosing items for sale and recycle. Clothes tagging, rotation, washing and ironing. Cleaning, polishing and keeping a safe working environment. Working with a cash register Recycle unsuitable stock Assist with the Cleaning, repairing and upcycling furniture to make it more resalable (if required) Assist in the lifting and carrying of Furniture (if required) Deal with donators and customer queries, requests and complaints and referring on to Shop Manager Assist with insuring that appropriate health and safety standards are maintained in the shop at all times Participate in current fundraising activities e.g. (if required) Promote the ethos of ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services
