Collins Boyd Engineers & Architects based in Roscommon Town offer a complete Architectural Design and Engineering Service for educational and commercial projects in Ireland. Due to an increased number of exciting projects are looking for a detail-oriented architectural technician with 5+ years post qualification experience in Ireland to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have skills in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software programs, have experience working on a variety of project types, including residential, educational, industrial and commercial. They will be able to take a project from concept to completion, working closely with the architect and other members of the design team. 
Key Responsibilities:
•	Prepare sketches, schematics, conceptual drawings, fully detailed construction drawings, in various architectural media
•	Convert architect’s concept into architectural drawings, using computer-assisted drafting and design software
•	Work with architects and other engineering professionals to achieve design goals
•	Verify dimensions, scale, space relationships, and material quantities
•	Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of product
•	Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
•	Work with other team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements And Skills:
•	Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting
•	5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit
•	Capability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, section layouts, and details.
•	Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
•	In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes and structural analysis.
•	Driving licence and own car is essential.
•	Must be currently in Ireland, eligible to work and able to take up a full-time position in the coming weeks.

•	Annual Remuneration - €35K
•	Location of Employment – Collins Boyd Office, Galway Road, Roscommon, F42 V344
•	Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
