Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Van driving for ADAPT and shop • Assist in the lifting and carrying of Furniture • Assist with the collection and delivery of furniture • Monitor & Control the flow of furniture into and out of stores • Assist in displaying and storing the furniture securely in the Shop and Store and ensuring that appropriate health and safety standards are maintained at all time, e.g. storing bulky items on the floor • Dealing with donators and customer queries, requests and complaints and referring on to shop manager • General maintenance in ADAPT Services • Promote the ethos of ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services assist with maintain accommodation within ADAPT house in suitable conditions for new residents and ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are maintained at all times. Maintain a safe and secure environment within ADAPT house and the surrounding grounds. Assist in maintaining the front & back garden of ADAPT services and outreach accommodations and maintain them in neat condition and other duties as required. Obeying workplace safety rules, Keeping the workspace and tools clean, Work as part of the ADAPT staff team and Being flexible and willing to help out in other areas as and when required.
