Responsibilities -
Design and develop tailored solutions for security systems, ensuring seamless integration of devices such as sensors, cameras, intrusion detection systems, and access control mechanisms.
Configure and optimize IoT-enabled devices, integrating automation systems into robust and scalable security networks.
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure all systems comply with industry standards and deliver high performance.
Create comprehensive technical documentation, providing guidelines for system setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software specialists, to drive innovation and resolve technical challenges.
Proactively monitor and propose updates on emerging security technologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
Proven experience in designing and integrating security and automation systems, with a focus on device configuration and seamless network integration.
Strong knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, RS485) and proprietary security technologies.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and advanced configuration software for troubleshooting.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to complex technical scenarios.

Desirable:
Hands-on experience with IoT technologies in security applications.
Familiarity with Irish and EU regulatory standards for security systems and electronic networks.
Relevant certifications in security or network technologies (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+).

Location and Work Schedule:
Based in Limerick, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.
Standard hours: Working hours will fall between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday
