Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
A CE vacancy has become available at Gabriel Lodge in Ahiohill. Bus Driver Role along with general Maintenance duties at the centre, inside and out. · Provide a collect and drop off service for clients and staff of Coolmine West Cork & Gabriel Lodge to day outings and to and from appointments in Cork city and county. · Maintain high standard of cleanliness on the bus, in line with COVID19 protocols. · Complete and fill in a Bus Inspection form on every use of the bus. · Inform management of any faults or defects arising. · Ensure that the First Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher are kept stocked and in working order. · Safeguard the safety and wellbeing of both clients and staff on the bus at all times. · Reports to Coolmine Team Leader in West Cork. Person Specification · Clean driving licence required. · Previous driving experience desirable. · Two references & · Complete a Garda vetting application form. Knowledge & Skills: Communication skills; Calm & professional manner; Reliable & punctual; Ability to maintain confidentiality.
