Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties:
- General maintenance of properties including repair of fixtures and fittings.
- General painting and decoration 
- Ensuring that all lighting and electrical appliances are in working order.
- Ensuring that all plumbing is in working order and carrying out basic repairs
- Assisting with maintaining a clean environment both inside and outside 
- Using power hose/ steamer to clean external environment
- Emptying of bins and disposal of rubbish
- Furniture removal and relocation of office equipment
- Maintenance of grounds and surrounding area 
- Maintenance of garden areas and plants 
- Otherwise directed as assisted
