Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Overall Purpose Of The Job
The main purpose of this post is to assist in the administration of the Membership function of the INOU. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Duties
• Researching jobs and job announcements using various websites to source suitable jobs for INOU members and Community Employment participants.
• Linking with employers to provide both information about redundancies on the one hand and the benefits of recruiting unemployed people on the other.
• Updating various sections of the INOU website, in particular the Jobs Watch page.
• Providing administrative support as may be required.
• Attending key events and meetings, for example the Annual Delegate Conference, when required.

• Good I.T., research and follow up skills with an ability to work on own initiative.
• Well organised with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team worker with an ability to prioritise tasks and to work well under pressure.
• Flexible and enthusiastic.
