Catering Assistant Job in Dublin 12 – €15.90/hr Position: Catering Assistant Hourly Pay: €15.90/hour (+ Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays) Location: Dublin 12 Join our team as a Catering Assistant in Dublin 12 and play a vital role in supporting a respected healthcare facility. Earn €15.90 per hour, enjoy daytime hours (7 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday), and benefit from double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Weekend availability may also be required depending on location and client requirements. Key Responsibilities; As a Catering Assistant, your role will be vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within the healthcare facility. Responsibilities include: Meal Preparation & Service Assist in preparing and serving meals and beverages, ensuring all dietary requirements are met. Hygiene & Safety Maintain high hygiene standards, cleaning equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas in line with health and safety regulations. HACCP Compliance Follow HACCP protocols and adhere to infection control policies to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. Food Storage & Rotation Store, label, and rotate food correctly to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Meal Delivery Deliver meals to patient bedsides and assist those who may require support during meal times. Collaboration with Kitchen Staff Work as part of a dynamic kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals. Waste Management Follow healthcare facility waste and recycling procedures. Customer Service Provide professional and friendly service, addressing patient and staff queries with care and compassion. Stock Monitoring Ensure ward pantries are fully stocked with food and supplies for daily use. This diverse role in a healthcare setting allows you to make a genuine difference every day! What We’re Looking For We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who meet the following criteria: Experience 6 months to 1 year of experience in catering, hospitality, or a high-volume kitchen environment, ideally in healthcare catering jobs Ireland. Right to Work in Ireland Legal eligibility to work in Ireland, with successful Garda Vetting clearance. References Five years of work references to verify your experience. Team Player Strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hygiene Standards A commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control policies.
