Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Working as part of an experienced and dedicated team to maintain our Award winning Julianstown Community Garden.
Duties to include:
- General upkeep of the garden and taking care of hedges and shrubs
- Lawn maintenance and edge trimming
- Taking care of raised flower beds
- Planting bulbs and flowers
- Keeping pathways and access to the garden clean and clear
- Litter control in the village
- Removal of weeds from footpaths in the village
- Painting of garden sheds and fencing
- Safe use and storage of tools and equipment
