Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The position requires ( D ) Driving Licence, driver CPC qualification also up to date Tachograph.  
Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda Vetting application form.  
Duties include driving the bus for elderly citizens, club's and schools. Collecting elderly citizens, helping them on to the bus and helping them off the bus, cleaning of bus inside and out, maintenance and inspection of bus. Checking lights and headlights are working, oil is ok, tyres are at correct pressure. On occasion may be required to cover other duties. This position will include weekend work. Hours flexible.
