We're currently recruiting a Forestry Technician to join our team full time. The successful candidate will be based in the Midlands / North-West, with occasional travel to other regions. This role is ideal for someone with a forestry or agricultural background, looking to build a long-term career in a rewarding and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed reports
Planning and supervising forest operations, including harvesting, reforestation, and maintenance
Supporting land management planning and implementation
GIS mapping, field assessments, and forest inventory
Assisting with licensing and grant applications
Engaging with landowners, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Candidate Profile
Essential:
A qualification in Forestry or a related land-based discipline (e.g., land management, geography, environmental science, landscaping)
Full driving licence and access to own transport
Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible in approach with strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational, analytical, and IT skills (MS Office, GIS/mapping tools)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable:
Knowledge of Forest Service licensing and grant schemes (e.g., Afforestation, Roads, Woodland Improvement)
Experience in contracting and/or forest inventory work
