Career Opportunities We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Care Support Workers to join our residential care team.. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high quality support to individuals with disabilities in residential setting with focus on promoting the health, wellbeing and independence of clients by providing person centred care that meets their medical, physical, emotional and social needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality care in line with professional standards, legislation, and organizational policies. Uphold recovery-focused principles, promoting dignity, respect, and positive regard for clients and their families. Create a safe, therapeutic environment and contribute to client’s ongoing development. Plan, implement, and review care and placement plans collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Recognize clients as experts in their own experience and actively involve them in decisions about their care. Support service users in meeting their basic needs, such as meal preparation, household management, and personal organization. Participate in meetings about service users’ care and development, and collaborate with families and external agencies. Promote clients’ rights and well-being across physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual domains. Encourage participation in training, medical appointments, and social activities, providing transport when needed. Conduct risk assessments for all activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Assist in crisis situations, including the use of approved intervention techniques when required. Provide regular updates on client’s progress, both written and verbal. Act as a keyworker for designated client and support them during transitions or referrals. Maintain a professional approach in challenging situations. Provide support and guidance to family members or as appropriate.

Essential- Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 1
- Minimum Qualification:Level 4 (incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied/ Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme) OR Healthcare Award or Equivelant
- Ability Skills:Computer Literacy, Interpersonal Skills, Personal/Social Care
