DAVENHAM, based at Weatherwell Industrial Estate | Clondalkin Dublin 22, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician with a strong focus on Electric Panels to join our team. This role is crucial for the assembly, wiring, testing, installation, and maintenance of various types of electrical control panels for industrial, commercial, and residential applications, ensuring compliance with Italian and international electrical standards.

Assembly & Wiring: Assemble and wire electrical control panels, distribution boards (quadri elettrici), and other electrical enclosures from schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. This includes mounting components (e.g., circuit breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, terminals), cutting and crimping wires, and ensuring neat and organized cable management.

Component Installation: Install and connect a wide range of electrical components within panels, ensuring correct sizing, orientation, and secure fastening.

Testing & Quality Control: Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and functional tests on completed panels to ensure proper operation, compliance with design specifications, and adherence to quality standards.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify electrical faults within panels during assembly, testing, or on-site installation.

On-Site Installation: Install, connect, and commission electrical panels at client sites, integrating them with existing electrical systems and machinery.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of panel configurations, wiring changes, test results, and maintenance activities.

Material Management: Assist in the selection and procurement of necessary electrical components and materials for panel construction.

Collaboration: Work effectively with engineers, project managers, other technicians, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience (minimum a year) as an Electrician, specifically working with the assembly, wiring, and installation of electrical control panels.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical principles, control circuits, power distribution, and the function of common electrical panel components.
Blueprint Proficiency: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Testing Equipment: Familiarity with basic electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for precise wiring and high-quality panel finishes.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing electrical issues.

Education: Technical diploma or equivalent vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electricity.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific automation components.
Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design.
