We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our front-of-house team at Casanova’s, a vibrant Italian restaurant known for authentic food, fine wines, and warm hospitality. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a deep appreciation of Italian food and wine culture. ⸻ 🔑 Key Responsibilities • Greet and seat customers in a professional and friendly manner • Present menus, explain specials, and guide guests through the dining experience • Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems • Serve food and beverages with attention to timing and presentation • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on Italian wines and food pairings • Maintain a clean and organized dining area • Manage bills, process payments, and handle customer queries • Adhere to food hygiene, allergen awareness, and safety standards • Support the team with opening/closing duties and general floor operations ⸻ 🧠 Key Skills & Requirements • Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a busy restaurant • Working knowledge of Italian wines, dishes, and food pairings • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to stay composed in fast-paced environments • Strong knowledge of allergens, hygiene protocols, and customer service best practices • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems • Team player with a professional appearance and attitude • Flexibility to work 39 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
