Ashlawn House Nursing Home is a 52-bed nursing home located in Carrigatoher, 3.5 miles from Nenagh, Co Tipperary, Ireland. We provide quality, person-centered residential care for both long and short-term stays. The role of the HCA is to work in conjunction with management, and nursing staff, to provide person-centered care to our residents, whilst assisting with activities of daily living. We are recruiting for full-time positions. The role is subject to Garda Vetting and reference checks. The purpose of the role of HCA is to provide a 'home away from home' caring environment to our Residents and assist them in continuing to live independent, fulfilled lives with respect, privacy and dignity. The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week. Required Education, Skills & Qualifications: - QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (desired but not essential) - Relevant experience along with good communication skills - Good command of the English language both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Have a kind and compassionate nature - Training will be provided We provide:- - Friendly and caring work environment - Training and up-skill opportunities - Salary €30,000.00 per year
