Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This position is based in Meals & Wheels Longford.
Duties will include :
Ensure the preparation of meals to the highest standard by supporting the roles of the kitchen team
Assist with labelling
Liaise with and support the drivers to ensure meals are dispatched as per meal plan in an efficient and timely manner
Ensure food safety, hygiene and quality policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
Cleaning the kitchen, including washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
