Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Suitable applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills, with an interest in local history, heritage and craft. Previous experience in dealing with the public an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will deal directly with visitors and conduct guided tours of the museum. Training will be provided.
Good computer skills required for administration, historical and genealogical research and updating the website and facebook page. The candidate will be required to liaise with the Museum Committee and will be responsible for promoting the museum and advertising upcoming events and exhibitions. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the continued evolution and expansion of the museum both creatively and practically, while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.
