Roles and Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team to build electrical control systems, industrial automation systems
and other electrical equipment as needed.
• Deliver point-to-point wiring of relay panels, control systems, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs,
interfaces and instrumentation.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of wiring processes, troubleshooting as needed.
• Regularly refer to electrical schematics, wire diagrams and 1-line and 3-line diagrams to
ensure products are built to customer specifications.
• Ensure that panels are delivered to a high standard of precision and accuracy, with neat
wiring required at all times.
• Provide regular updates to the Team Leader / Supervisor on the progress of your work,
highlighting any issues, risks or delays immediately.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, and ensure that strict Health & Safety and
environmental guidelines are adhered to at all times.
• Report any non-conformances to the Team Leader / Supervisor.
• Proactively identify issues and actively participate in Continuous Improvement.
• Adhere to standard internal procedures and accurately complete all documentation.
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Take part in all assigned training to enhance your skills.
Build strong working relationships with colleagues, working well as a cohesive team.
• Deliver duties in a professional manner, with confidentiality and discretion.
• Support colleagues on other teams when requested.
Qualifications and Requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting for electrical equipment.
• Experience in panel building and switchgear would be a distinct advantage.
• Previous training as an electrician would also be a distinct advantage.
• Good work ethic with excellent attention to detail and precision.
• A solid appreciation for Health & Safety within the workplace.
• Comfortable in following standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• A strong level of dexterity, and aptitude for using hand tools and instruments.
• Physically capable to deliver the manual handling aspects required for the role.
• Have a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Committed, resilient professional who shows integrity and drive in everything they do.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Eligible to work in Ireland (with current valid work permit if needed).
Other details
• Full-time, permanent position.
• Onsite role, based in our workshop in Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
• Working hours: 40 hour week, typically 7:30-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 7:30-13:30 Fri.
