Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

The Art Installer maintains and installs art within University Hospital Waterford.  Réalta manages the hospital Art Collection, which consists of over 600 paintings and other artworks that are on display throughout the hospital.  These artworks transform the building from a clinical space to a more human, welcoming place, and give patients, staff and visitors the opportunity to experience contemporary art.

Duties of the Art Installer include:
-	Installing, cleaning and maintaining the Art Collection at University Hospital Waterford
-	Organising the repair of artworks where needed
-	Installing temporary exhibitions
-	Liaising with the UHW Technical Services Department, framers, suppliers, artists etc
-	Updating the Art Collection inventory
-	Labelling artworks
-	Contributing to team meetings
-	Supporting other aspects of the organisation where needed
-	Complying with health and safety and infection control standards
Eligibility to participate in the Community Employment (CE) Scheme is generally linked to those who are in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department of Social Protection.
