Job Description:
No. 8 Clinic Cornmarket is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse/Dental Technician to join our modern dental practice in the heart of Limerick. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-focused care, and we are committed to embracing the latest in digital dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

For Dental Nurse:

Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including digital workflows

Ensure treatment rooms and instruments are properly prepared and sterilized

Provide compassionate and professional care to patients

Maintain accurate records and follow best practices in infection control

Design and fabricate dental appliances (crowns, bridges, guides, etc.)

Use CAD/CAM software and 3D printing systems (e.g., Formlabs)

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal fit and aesthetics

Manage digital case files and lab equipment efficiently

Digital Dentistry Focus:

Operate intraoral scanners, CAD software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad), and 3D printers

Follow digital workflows from impression to final restoration or guide fabrication

Stay current with developments in digital technologies and techniques

Requirements:

Experience working as a dental nurse

Experience in a dental clinic or lab (digital experience preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good command of English, both spoken and written

Interest or experience in digital dentistry is highly desirable
