Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 5 star property.
Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on training preferred.
In-depth knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary trends.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in a high pressured and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and communication skills. 
Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and food preparation.

Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food production.
Ensure consistency in presentation and taste of all dishes served.
Train and mentor line cooks and kitchen team members.
Enforce proper sanitation and food safety practices (HACCP, etc.).
Help develop new menu items and contribute to seasonal offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving supplies.
Maintain food cost targets and minimize waste.
Step in and take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
