Giraffe Childcare Limited is hiring a Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to provide a quality consultative recruitment service in line with the requirements of the company. Degree in psychology or a similar field is required. Permanent/Full-time/39 hours per week. €38,000 per annum at K78 NH94. Contact careers@giraffe.ie. Key Responsibilities: • Interview candidates for job vacancies and assess suitability. • Assist in negotiations between management and employees regarding pay and employment conditions. • Conduct research into pay differentials, productivity incentives, bonuses, and other compensation elements. • Advise on training programs, recruitment strategies, negotiation procedures, and salary agreements. • Develop and continuously review a fit-for-purpose applicant attraction strategy to meet the company's hiring needs. • Take ownership of ensuring all job vacancies are clearly defined and qualified with hiring managers or decision-makers. • Proactively schedule and coordinate interviews with shortlisted candidates. • Manage candidate expectations throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. • Ensure all employees sign employment contracts and understand both company policies and statutory obligations. • Monitor and enforce compliance with legal and organisational employment requirements. Requirements: • A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a similar field is required. • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR. • Proven track record in sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates in line with company requirements. • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools, such as ICIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards, would be an advantage. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage full recruitment lifecycle.
