Employer Name: Wilson Retail No 2 Limited trading as Wilsons Family Butchers Location: Unit 7, Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Butterfield Avenue, Dublin 14, D14 FH24, Ireland Position: Butcher Salary: €34,000 per annum Hours of Work: 39 hours per week Work Location: In-person Job Description: Wilson Retail No 2 Limited t/a Wilsons Family Butchers requires a skilled Butcher with at least two years’ relevant experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Cut or saw carcasses into manageable portions. Remove bones, gristle, surplus fat, rind, and other waste materials. Cut carcass parts into chops, joints, steaks, etc., for sale. Ensure all butcher equipment is in good working order. Take full responsibility for the meat display counter. Drive meat sales within the store. Prepare marinated chicken for retail customers. Butcher large pieces of beef into smaller retail portions. Prepare meat for curing or other processing. Clean tools and work surfaces in compliance with hygiene standards. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a butcher role.
