Job Description: Elektrotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Engineer to join our team in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical maintenance of automated machinery and electronic systems used in production. This includes fault diagnosis, preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaboration with the engineering team to optimize performance and reduce downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Perform planned and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment and automation systems - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults - Monitor equipment performance and recommend technical improvements - Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records - Collaborate with engineers and production teams to minimize downtime - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Candidate Requirements: - Technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial Technology, or Computer Systems Maintenance - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting - Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, particularly with automated systems - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics - Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
