Position Overview As a Web Design and Development Professional, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and improving our websites and digital platforms. You’ll work closely with other developers, designers, and content creators to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet client needs and enhance user experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive websites and web applications Write clean, well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices Ensure compatibility across browsers, operating systems, and devices Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs quickly Collaborate with team members to plan and implement website layouts and features Update website content and manage integrations with third-party tools Maintain website security and conduct regular backups ------------------------------- What We’re Looking For: Completion of a post-secondary program, certificate, or training course in web development, design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). However, graduated from college or university are preferred. Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Interest in learning responsive web design and mobile-friendly development Willingness to learn and use popular content management systems (like WordPress) Some familiarity with design tools (like Canva, Figma, or Photoshop) is an asset A good eye for layout, design, and user experience (UI/UX) Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work well with others Good communication skills and a positive attitude A personal portfolio, school project, or example of previous web work is a bonus—but not required ------------------- Why Work With Us?
