This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process. 


We are seeking a participant who is interested in becoming a Therapist in our Salon. All Training will be provided in basic nail care treatments, shellac, brow services, lash lifts, threading, tinting & daily running of salon.  
The Training & work experience opportunity, no prior experience necessary for this role. Accredited and/or sector recognized training will be provided to support your placement.

Formal Training 
WPEP QQI Experience Module

Informal On site training 
Eyebrow service to include tinting, lamination  & Henna Brows
Epilation services  to include Waxing & Threading Services
Basic Nail Care to includue Manicues & Pedicures
Shellac nail application & Removals
Lash Lift Treatments
Customer Service Skills
Salon Booking system 
Daily running of salon open/closing and cleanliness
