If you are a Chartered Physiotherapist passionate about working with children and young people this is the ideal opportunity for you to develop your skills as a Paediatric physiotherapist. This opportunity will allow you to treat MSK, Neurological cases, delayed development, sports injuries & Scoliosis cases outside the confines of the health board but within a supportive and innovative private practice setting? We are currently seeking a full-time Chartered Physiotherapist to join our expanding team, with a focus on paediatric care. This role is ideal for a clinician who is either already experienced in paediatrics or is eager to specialise through ongoing mentorship and structured professional development. About the Role You’ll be working with a varied paediatric caseload that includes: MSK and biomechanical assessments (e.g. postural issues, growing pains, hypermobility, gait abnormalities, sports injuries, severs, oosgoolds, etc. tallipes and torticolles) Neurological conditions (e.g. developmental delay, CP, coordination difficulties) Scoliosis – with an opportunity to train in Schroth / Rigo concept physiotherapy and other evidence-based management approaches You will also: Conduct detailed assessments and develop personalised treatment plans Deliver progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation in a child-friendly setting Collaborate with parents, GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals Have access to structured mentorship, CPD, and opportunities to specialise in your chosen area What We’re Looking For BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy CORU registered and a member of ISCP A minimum of 2–3 years’ post-graduate experience preferred Experience or strong interest in paediatric MSK, scoliosis, or neurological physiotherapy A compassionate, child-centred approach with excellent communication skills Commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality care Desirable (Not Essential) Skills Scoliosis management (Schroth / Rigo Concept training a plus – training can be provided) Experience in paediatric neurodevelopmental therapy Gait analysis and orthotic prescription Pilates, sensory integration, or play-based rehab strategies Manual therapy techniques and complex pain management in children What We Offer At Kilkenny Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, we provide an environment where clinical development and specialisation are encouraged: Competitive salary package Access to our GoTo Physio Mentorship Programme Opportunities for further training and funded CPD Support in developing a paediatric specialisation pathway Flexible working hours and a focus on work-life balance Pension enrolment & wellness initiatives Friendly, collaborative clinical team environment About Us We are a long-established and respected private physiotherapy practice in the S
