Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

General maintenance:
-Sweeping floors, Cleaning work surfaces, tidying and re-homing items;
-Painting of internal and external walls, etc.;
-Painting of trailers/items of plant.

Sea Rescue specific duties (for which training will be given):
-refueling boats, and refilling fuel bowsers;
-refueling launch tractor;
-testing/checking radios are charged and operational;
-testing/checking boats are pumped to specification and operational.
Other duties as may be determined by the Sea Rescue Committee and agreed with the CE Supervisor and participant.
