We currently have vacancies for Healthcare Assistants at Norwood Grange Nursing home, Waterfall, Cork. T12WA47. Job Description: Norwood Grange Nursing Home is a family run private nursing home and a very happy home to 30 wonderful Residents. Norwood is in a rural setting with views over the surrounding countryside. Responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to: Assist in providing the best quality care in all aspects of Norwood Grange which may include: Maintaining a warm and safe environment for our residents at the Nursing home. Work as part of the Nursing Home/Care Centre team ensuring a warm harmonious working environment for all at the Nursing Home. Assist residents in the activities of daily living. Treat residents as individuals and respect their preferences and choices as far as possible. Assist residents in personal care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, staff and volunteers to the Care Centre. Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and local policies as directed Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all residents and the Care Centre's private information. Attend appropriate mandatory and discretionary training programmes as directed. Act in a professional manner as a representative of Norwood Grange at all times. Report any incident or deficit which may arise in the course of your employment. Undertake any other duties as required to maintain quality care as directed by the Nursing staff, Director of Care or Director of Services.
