The Role:

Maurice & Orna Cogan is hiring Dairy Farm Assistants who is enthusiastic, capable, and reliable. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to upskill in all aspects of dairy farming. Duties include milking, calf rearing, calving, and general farm work. 

The typical day to day duties include:

Milking & Herding
Calf Rearing & Calving
Vaccinations
Mastitis Control
Cow Care – Infections, Treatments
Lameness Treatments/ Foot bathing
Bedding & Cleaning cow & calf sheds
Fencing & General farm maintenance
Hedge cutting, strimming & spraying

Experience:

Good stock skills are essential. Dairy farm experience is mandatory.
